Overview

Retail Business Manager (Maternity cover FTC) – Harrods, London. Fixed term contract: 12 months. 37.5 hours across 5 days – flexibility required.As our Retail Business Manager, you will manage a retail store team and the running of our Elemis Retail Account. You will drive the sales of Elemis treatments and products through your leadership and communication skills. You will lead a team within your Retail Account to develop sales and promote the Elemis brand through planning and executing promotional activities. Your organisation, attention to detail and leadership skills will ensure that the Company standards are maintained, through the delivery of an exceptional Elemis journey for each client.What Will You Do?

Account Management

Manage the growth of Elemis sales in treatments and products within the retail store.Pro-actively and enthusiastically drive sales and ensure that both personal targets and counter targets are met, and to strive to exceed set targets.Raise awareness of the Elemis brand and educate clients in the product and treatment range.Manage promotional/PR activity and ensure the success of the promotion and/or event.Ensure products and treatments prescribed are appropriate to clients needs and take into account medical contraindications.Assess and collate weekly/monthly sales figures and analysis of business, and report such information to key individuals as requested.Ensure that a complete stock check is carried out on a weekly/fortnightly basis and any discrepancies on stock should be found and rectified.Team Management

Ensure the team are aware of their figures and targets and how the account is trading.Prepare rotas on a monthly basis that are fair and consistent, ensuring the counter is sufficiently covered at all times, attendance and timekeeping is to an acceptable standard and provided to Retail Sales Manager.Manage, support and develop the team within your retail store by continuously monitoring and assessing performance and individual needs, to ensure that Company standards, image and values are maintained at all times.Assist and support in ongoing product knowledge and retail training for the team.Be responsible for the motivation and team spirit of your small division.Customer Service

Maintain the Elemis counter, site and treatment areas to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation and ensure the team is well presented at all times.Ensure customer service is of the highest standard and handle client complaints promptly.Ensure all client details are kept confidential and not discussed with inappropriate parties inside or outside the Company.The Perfect Candidate

Beauty Therapy or equivalent qualificationGood level and standard of UK/European education or equivalentExperience within a similar retail/store role and industryExperience supervising and managing a teamProven sales recordPractical work experience in conducting treatmentsGood level of computer literacy in Microsoft Word and ExcelPrevious experience working with a professional brandWhat We Offer You
