Salary: £38,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week
Working pattern: Including weekends on a rota basis

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to join our amazing client''s busy and friendly food hall team in Diss.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional who enjoys leading a team, delivering excellent customer service and taking responsibility for the smooth and successful day-to-day running of a restaurant operation.

The Role

As Restaurant Manager, you will have responsibility for the overall operation of the venue, ensuring high standards of service, food quality, cleanliness and customer experience.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing, motivating and developing the restaurant team.
• Overseeing day-to-day restaurant operations.
• Managing budgets and monitoring costs.
• Using and managing EPOS systems effectively.
• Supporting recruitment, training and staff development.
• Ensuring health, safety and operational standards are consistently maintained.
• Managing stock, wastage and other operational costs.
• Leading by example and creating a positive team environment.

About You

We are looking for someone with proven experience in restaurant management who is confident taking ownership of a busy operation.

You will ideally have experience in:

• Restaurant or food-service management.
• Staff scheduling and rota management.
• Budgeting and cost control.
• EPOS systems.
• Working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Delivering consistently high standards of customer service.

You will be organised, commercially aware and hands-on, with excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm and effective in a busy environment.
