Responsible Mechanical Engineer Location: Greatham, Teesside Client: Tioxide Lead mechanical integrity across a major UK manufacturing site Wolviston Management Services is proud to be working in partnership with Tioxide to recruit a Responsible Mechanical Engineer for their Greatham site. This is a senior engineering leadership role where you will help ensure mechanical, civil and structural assets are designed, installed, commissioned, maintained, inspected and operated safely, reliably and in line with UK legislation, site standards and recognised engineering best practice. As part of the Site Engineering Leadership Team, you will play a visible role in mechanical engineering strategy, asset integrity, compliance, engineering standards and long-term asset life planning across a complex upper-tier COMAH manufacturing environment. What you ll be doing You will: Lead the site strategy for mechanical engineering excellence, asset integrity and asset life planning. Ensure mechanical assets are maintained, inspected, repaired and operated in line with UK legislation, COMAH requirements, company standards and recognised engineering practice. Act as the technical interface for mechanical, civil and structural matters with the UK HSE, specialist suppliers and the Competent Inspection Authority.
