Job Title: Responsible Individual - Children

Location: Chasetown, Burntwood, UK

Salary: -65,000 per annum

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Responsible Individual to join our team in Chasetown. As the Responsible Individual for our Children's services, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of the children in our care.

Responsibilities:

Act as the main point of contact for all regulatory bodies and local authorities

Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures

Develop and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders

Provide leadership and support to the staff team, ensuring high-quality care is delivered at all times

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of service delivery and make necessary improvements

Ensure that all safeguarding concerns are addressed in a timely and appropriate manner

Manage budgets and resources effectively to meet the needs of the service

Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain high standards of care

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior management role within Children's services

Relevant professional qualification in Social Work, Health, or related field

Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations, such as the Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards

Strong leadership and communication skills

Proven track record of successfully managing and developing a team

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Ability to work collaboratively with external agencies and stakeholders

Passion for promoting the well-being and development of children and young people
