Responsible Authority Officer

Working across London boroughs and with a wide range of stakeholders, you''ll help ensure licensing supports the capital''s economic growth, cultural vibrancy and night-time economy.Day-to-day of the role:You will manage a varied caseload of licensing work, including complex and high-risk cases, supporting consistent delivery of the Responsible Authority function across boroughs.Key responsibilities include:Managing and prioritising a caseload of licensing applications and reviewsLeading on complex and high-risk casesGathering and analysing evidence to inform decisionsDrafting licensing representations, conditions, and reportsMaintaining accurate and auditable case recordsBuilding strong relationships with borough officers and stakeholdersRepresenting the GLA at meetings and, where appropriate, hearingsSupporting service prioritisation and mentoring colleagues where neededRequired Skills and Qualifications:We''re looking for a motivated and analytical professional with experience in licensing or regulatory services.You''ll bring:Experience working within a licensing, regulatory, enforcement, or public protection environment (ideally in ..... full job details .....
