Your new roleAs Resources and Recycling Contracts Manager, you will take ownership of major waste collection, waste disposal, and street cleansing contracts. You will lead a team of contract management and enforcement professionals, ensuring contractors deliver against agreed performance standards, budgets, and legislative requirements.Key responsibilities will include: Managing the performance of waste collection, waste disposal, and street cleansing contracts Monitoring contractor performance against KPIs and contractual obligations Managing contract risks and ensuring compliance with contract terms and council policies Leading and developing contract management and enforcement teams Overseeing monthly financial assessments and contract payments Producing performance reports for senior stakeholders and elected members Managing large revenue and capital budgets Working closely with contractors, consultants, auditors, and internal stakeholders Driving service improvements, operational efficiencies, and customer ..... full job details .....
