Paid to Scale (MPS/UPS) + SEN Allowance TBC
Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)

Contract: Permanent, Temp to Perm

Long Term Futures are working alongside a welcoming and well-resourced primary school to appoint a dedicated SEN Teacher for their specialist resource provision. This provision supports pupils with a range of additional needs, particularly Autism and communication challenges, with a strong emphasis on routine, personalised learning, and emotional wellbeing.

This role would suit a teacher with experience in a specialist setting, or a SEND specialism. You''ll be supported by skilled teaching assistants and a leadership team that prioritises inclusive, high-quality provision.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver personalised lessons aligned with EHCP outcomes
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet a range of complex needs
• Implement structured approaches to support communication and behaviour
• Lead and guide support staff in delivering targeted interventions
• Track and monitor progress against individual learning goals
• Create a consistent, safe, and nurturing classroom environment
• Work collaboratively with parents, SENCo, and external professionals
• Support pupils'' social, emotional, and behavioural development
• Contribute to EHCP reviews and reporting

What We''re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Specialist School teaching experience
• SEND Specialism
• Strong understanding of adaptive teaching and inclusive practice
• Confident behaviour management and a calm, patient approach
• Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
