Resource Planning and Capability Lead

Central Government | Contract Opportunity | Inside IR35 | Hybrid working in LiverpoolWe are working with a central government organisation seeking an experienced Resource Planning andamp; Capability Lead to support the development and implementation of resource management practices across a large, complex delivery environment.This is a hands-on role requiring someone who can not only design and improve resource planning processes but also build the tools, enable adoption, and coach stakeholders on best practice.The RoleYou will take ownership of establishing and enhancing resource management capabilities, ensuring leaders have visibility of resource demand, capacity, and allocation across programmes and projects.Working closely with delivery, PMO, and senior stakeholders, you will develop practical resource planning solutions and embed consistent ways of working across the organisation.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build and maintain resource management tooling using Azure DevOps (ADO) and Microsoft PlannerDevelop resource planning processes, governance and reporting capabilitiesProvide visibility of resource demand, capacity and utilisation across programmes and portfoliosTrain and coach project teams, PMOs and managers on resource planning tools and best practiceSupport forecasting, workforce planning and prioritisation activitiesProduce management information and reporting to support strategic decision-makingDrive adoption of resource management disciplines across multiple ..... full job details .....
