Location: Primary School, South Birmingham Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience) Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time Start Date: September 2026Interview Date: Week commencing 1st June Your new role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and committed Resource Base Class Teacher to join a brand-new SEND provision in a Primary School based in South Birmingham, opening in September 2026.This role offers the chance to be part of a specialist resource base designed to support pupils with communication and interaction needs, particularly Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). You will play a key role in delivering a bespoke, high-quality curriculum tailored to meet the needs of pupils, ensuring they achieve the very best outcomes both academically and socially.What you''ll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will:Be a qualified teacher with experience in primary, early years, or SEND settingsHave a strong understanding of Autism and communication needsDemonstrate a track record of high-quality teaching and inclusive practiceBe adaptable, resilient and committed to supporting pupils with complex needsHave experience (or a strong interest) in working with pupils with EHCPs and differentiated curriculum pathwaysBe confident working collaboratively with support staff, SENCo, parents and external agenciesApplications are welcomed from both experienced SEND practitioners and mainstream teachers with a passion for SEND.What you''ll get in return The opportunity ..... full job details .....
