Residential Support Worker Location: South East Coast Hours: 40 hours per week Salary: £29744 - £30576The RoleWe''re recruiting for a Residential Support Worker to join a children''s residential home, providing practical and emotional support to young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties. This is a hands-on, rewarding role where no two days are the same and the impact you make is real.You''ll be part of a small, close-knit team working together to create a safe, caring and homely environment where children and young people are supported to grow, develop and thrive.What You''ll Be DoingWorking directly with young people across all aspects of daily life, including:Supporting personal care, daily living skills, and routinesOrganising and supervising recreational and leisure activities, both in and out of the homeSupporting attendance at education and, where needed, providing transportActing as keyworker for specific young people, leading on care planning and reviewsAdministering medication when trained and authorised to do soMaintaining accurate records and handover documentationBuilding positive relationships with young people, families, social workers and external professionalsUpholding safeguarding at all times and working in line with relevant policies and legislationContributing to a positive, safe home environment including cooking, household tasks and health and safety monitoringWhat We''re Looking ForEssential:Ability to work on your own initiative and ..... full job details .....
