The service is committed to providing safe, nurturing and child-centred care, supporting young people to develop confidence, independence and resilience.The successful candidate will join a supportive team within a children''s home, helping young people with their day-to-day care, emotional wellbeing, education and personal development.This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and resilient Residential Support Worker who is passionate about supporting children and young people and helping them achieve positive outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality residential childcare and support in line with individual care plans.Build positive, professional relationships with children and young people based on trust, respect and consistency.Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people at all times.Support education, health appointments, activities, life skills and independence.Provide emotional, practical and social support to meet individual needs.Support personal care, medication and daily routines where required and appropriately trained.Promote positive behaviour using agreed strategies, including Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) approaches where appropriate.Support young people who may have complex emotional, ..... full job details .....
