Role: Residential Support Worker (Senior positions available)Salary: Starting from £24,398 up to £35,811 ( senior positions) Locations: Leicestershire (Coalville, Syston, Market Harborough, Mountsorreland Hinkley)Hours: 37 hours (shift work)Duration: PermanentYou will be working within a home, based in one of the locations in Leicestershire that supports vulnerable individuals or children and young people who have experienced trauma/significant life events which have negatively impacted their emotional well-being and mental health. You could be working in 3 self-contained flats that can house up to 3 families at any one time. Families utilising this type of service may include parents with moderate to high learning needs, those presenting with issues around domestic violence, and or substance/alcohol misuse. You could be providing support to children and young people with a range of complex needs, providing a nurturing environment that enables them to continue to recover from the mental health issues that led to their admission to a Tier 4 CAMHS unit. Some of the homes will meet the specific needs of children and young people who are ready for discharge and no longer require inpatient mental health services, you could be supporting children and young people facing risks around exploitation, by identifying and responding to harm and abuse posed to them outside of their home environment and understanding the importance of intervention.
