Salary: -14.00 per hour
Hours: Minimum 37.5 hours per week (full-time)
Sleep-in Rate: -60 per sleep-in shift
About the Role
We are looking for compassionate, committed, and resilient Residential Support Workers to join our team in a 3-bed children''s home supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

You will work closely with the young people to help them develop life skills, build confidence, achieve positive outcomes, and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people in a residential setting.
Build positive and trusting relationships with young people, acting as a positive role model.
Support young people in line with their individual care plans, risk assessments, and placement plans.
Promote emotional well-being, independence, and personal development.
Encourage participation in education, training, hobbies, and community activities.
Support young people to attend appointments, school, and social activities.
Maintain accurate records, daily logs, incident reports, and other documentation.
Assist with household tasks to ensure the home remains safe, clean, and welcoming.
Administer medication where trained and authorised to do so.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, social workers, and external professionals.
Promote safeguarding and ensure the welfare of all young people at all times.
Participate in shift work, including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-in duties.
Essential Requirements
Genuine passion for working with children and young people.
Ability to build positive relationships and maintain professional boundaries.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
Flexible and reliable approach to shift work.
Good written and IT skills for record keeping.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Desirable Requirements
Previous experience working in residential childcare, social care, youth work, education, or a related field.
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare, Children and Young People''s Workforce, Health & Social Care, or equivalent.
Knowledge and understanding of Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
Full UK Driving Licence.
