Residential Support Worker

As a group, we specialise in supporting Children and Young people with a wide range of support areas relating to health diagnosis and behavioural, emotional and social difficulties and we are currently looking to grow our Residential Support Worker team within our Ofsted Children''s Home. We are looking for friendly and enthusiastic individuals to join our team to provide a high quality of care and support for children and young people within our residential and home. Residential Support Workers will need to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, social, cultural and educational needs of the children and young people. Residential Support Workers will act as a key worker and become a positive role model who is able to offer advice, guidance and assistance to our Children. The ideal candidate will: Have experience working with children and young people Hold an NVQ Level 3 in childcare / CYPW Diploma or equivalent or willingness to work towards this. Have the ability to work with and support staff working with children young people who have been traumatised by abuse, neglect and harm. Preferably have knowledge of Child Protection issues and relevant legislation Preferably have knowledge of child adolescent development, the impact of separation and loss, physical, sexual and emotional abuse and difficult behaviours that arise from this abuse Provide support to our children and young people to meet Ofsted regulations relating to Health and Wellbeing and Education Provide ..... full job details .....
