Residential Support Worker

We are seeking experienced Youth Residential Support Workers to provide care and safeguarding for young people in mainstream residential settings.This is a temporary, ad-hoc role with flexible shifts, including earlies, lates, sleep-ins, and waking nights.You will support young people in the care system, helping them build independence and resilience while managing complex needs and risks.Key Details: Pay: £14.82 with uplifts for wake nights and weekendsLocation: Cranmer Bank, LeedsShifts: EarliesLatesSleep-insWaking nightsKey Responsibilities: Provide person-centred care and emotional support to young people.Monitor and manage ligature risks and follow safety protocols.Assist with daily routines, education support, and personal care.Maintain accurate records, care plans, and risk assessments.Respond to incidents and follow safeguarding procedures.Essential Requirements: At least 1 year of experience in a similar setting (residential childcare, youth support, or related).Strong understanding of safeguarding and risk management.Ligature Training.Desirable: Experience in Mental Health Secure settings. ..... full job details .....
