Residential Support Worker - Ofsted Registered Children''s Residential Home Job Title: Residential Support Worker Pay: 13.82 - 17.29 per hour Location: Eastbourne Working Pattern: Day or Night Shifts Available In this role you will help young people become more independent and grow personally through various enjoyable activities within a safe environment. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in creating a therapeutic, nurturing and structured environment where young people feel understood, supported and cared for within a Ofsted Registered Children''s Home in Eastbourne, which is rated "Good". The home is a specialist residential children''s home supporting up to 4 young people aged 13 to 17 (currently supporting one young person) with complex and additional needs, including foetal alcohol syndrome, learning disabilities, ADHD, sensory processing difficulties, visual impairment, developmental delays and communication difficulties. The role requires individuals who can remain calm, patient and resilient when supporting behaviours that may challenge, including verbal and physical aggression, property damage and self injurious behaviours.
