Residential Support Worker

Join Our Team as a Residential Support Worker (RSW)
Do you want to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people? We’re looking for compassionate and dedicated Residential Support Workers to join our Ofsted rated ‘Good’ children’s home in Camden. With full-time and part-time roles available — including day, night, and mixed shift patterns — this is your opportunity to be part of a team that truly changes lives.
About us
Since 2006, KPMS has been helping children and young people recover from difficult childhood experiences and move towards brighter, safer futures. We specialise in supporting those with complex needs, offering care that is safe, nurturing, and rooted in understanding.
What We’re Looking For
Our values guide everything we do. We want people who are:
- Curious – always asking questions to make the best decisions for children
- Enthusiastic – bringing energy and passion to every interaction
- Responsible – taking ownership of actions and choices
- Creative – finding new and imaginative ways to support young people
- Trustworthy – acting with integrity, choosing the right path even when it’s hard
Alongside these values, you’ll need:
- At least one year of direct experience working with children or young people
- A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or a willingness to complete this while in role if you bring exceptional experience)
- Good IT, literacy, and numeracy skills
What You’ll Do
As a Residential Support Worker, you’ll be a role model and mentor for young people in our care. You’ll provide day-to-day support, advice, and encouragement — helping them face challenges, recover from trauma, and grow in confidence. Whether it’s supporting health and wellbeing, education, or life skills, you’ll be making a lasting impact and helping young people work towards independence and a brighter future.
