Location: Stirling
Contract Type: Permanent- Full Time (37.5 hours per week, 7-day rota)
Salary: £13.25 per hour + £75 sleepover payment

As a Residential Support Worker, you’ll empower adults with learning disabilities to live more independent, meaningful, and fulfilling lives- all within a supportive, values-led community.
What You’ll Do-

Deliver compassionate, person-centred care within a supported living environment.

Support and guide volunteers who contribute to the household.

Assist with daily routines, cultural and spiritual activities, and personal care – always with dignity and respect.

Help plan, review, and develop tailored support plans alongside team leaders.

Promote safety and wellbeing through risk assessments and responsible medication handling.

Encourage participation in household life and wider community opportunities.

Maintain accurate records and uphold confidentiality.

Support individuals with household and personal finances.

Work closely with families, carers, and professionals to ensure the best holistic care.
What We’re Looking For-
-
Previous experience supporting adults with learning disabilities (residential, day care, or education).

Knowledge of person-centred support, safeguarding, and care planning.

Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
-
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and step into leadership when needed.

A genuine commitment to inclusion, respect, and building a supportive community.
Desirable:
-
Social care qualification (e.g., SVQ Level 3) or willingness to work towards it.

Understanding of adult support and protection legislation.
-
Experience within the voluntary sector.

Full driving licence (and willingness to drive service vehicles if required).
