Residential Support Worker
Full-time Residential Childcare Workers are expected to work within a shift pattern, that covers the home 24/7. The home will endeavour to be flexible where possible With our structured pay-scales and clear career progression, we can support you with the training and experience you need to develop into a more senior role, Deputy Manager or Residential Manager. Children benefit from having consistent, long-term adults in their lives, therefore your career progression within Care 2 Care Children s home is important to us. WHAT THIS JOB ENTAILS: 1. Establishing meaningful relationships and providing practical/emotional support to the children/young people living with us. Contribute towards the provision of a secure, stable and supportive environment that enables our residents to build the life-skills and resilience needed to make the transition from living in care to living independently. 2. To maintain a high quality of care and support which meets the physical, emotional, intellectual, social and cultural needs of children and young people within our care. Working from the guidelines from the 1989 Children s Act, National Minimum Standards, Every Child Matters and any other relevant legislation. 3. To support the children/young people with their daily routines and care needs in line with their assigned care plan.
