Residential Property Solicitor (Locum)

Location: Near Birmingham Contract Type: Temporary/Locum Salary: £45 to £55ph Locum/FTC Solicitor requirement in residential conveyancing team of national well regarded multi office law firm. Maternity cover required to start mid October 2026. On site working mainly required (some flex for remote). 4 or 5 days per week working hours required. Caseload - Usual residential conveyancing transactions. Our client, a well regarded national law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to assist with a maternity leave on site in one of their offices on the outskirts of Birmingham. Position Overview The Residential Conveyancer will play a crucial role in assisting the firm through a maternity period. The role is to start mid to end Oct 2026 ideally, and ideally will last for one year, although a minimum commitment of 6 months would suffice in the first instance. The requirement is mostly on site. Responsibilities Manage the usual caseload of residential property law matters. Communicate effectively with clients, agents, and stakeholders. Ensure timely completion of legal documentation. Maintain accurate and up-to-date case management records. Work well within a team. Requirements Minimum 4 years'' PQE as a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer in Residential Property Law (unable to accept Conveyancers qualified by experience).
