Residential Porter

We are seeking a professional, reliable, and proactive Residential Porter to manage the day-to-day running of a residential building and provide excellent service to residents.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the smooth daily operation of the buildingEnsure the safety, security, cleanliness, and presentation of all communal areasMonitor CCTV and control access for residents, visitors, deliveries, and contractorsCarry out regular building inspections and report maintenance issues, defects, and safety concernsCoordinate and supervise contractors on siteManage refuse and recycling areas and liaise with the local council where neededCarry out weekly fire alarm tests and support emergency proceduresMaintain records/logs for inspections, complaints, incidents, and keysAssist residents and act as a professional first point of contactRespond to out-of-hours emergencies where requiredRequirements:Previous experience as a Porter, Caretaker, or in residential building management preferredStrong communication and customer service skillsReliable, hands-on, and highly organisedProfessional, discreet, and able to work independentlyBasic understanding of health and safety and building maintenanceThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and committed Porter looking for a stable, long-term role within a well-maintained residential development.Jackson Sims Recruitment, specialists in Real Estate, covering Block and Estate Management, Property Management (AST), Build to Rent (BTR), ..... full job details .....
