Our client will consider candidates from specialist, prime or high-street lending backgrounds, with both current and previous underwriting experience considered. You must have strong manual underwriting experience and have held an underwriting mandate/delegated authority. This is an excellent opportunity to bring your existing underwriting experience into a growing specialist lending environment. Responsibilities for the role of Residential Mortgage Underwriter: Underwrite applications in line with company policy, underwriting criteria and risk appetite Assess borrower circumstances, affordability, supporting documentation and overall credit risk to make sound lending decisions Manage a pipeline of cases from application through to completion Provide clear, concise and accurate updates to brokers throughout the underwriting process Proactively liaise with brokers to ..... full job details .....
