A well-established residential care home on the outskirts of Dumfries is looking for an experienced and motivated Residential Home Manager to lead the service and continue delivering high standards of person-centred care.

The home has a strong reputation within the local community and provides a warm, supportive and homely environment where residents receive high-quality care and support.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced care professional who has previously managed a medium-sized residential care service and is confident leading a team, maintaining compliance and driving continuous improvement.

About the Residential Home Manager role and what''s on offer:

• Permanent, full-time contract - 40 hours per week
• Monday to Friday, day shifts with on-call responsibilities
• Salary up to -52,500 per annum, negotiable depending on experience

What we''re looking for in a Residential Home Manager:

• Proven experience as a Residential Home Manager, managing a medium-sized care service
• Strong operational and people-management experience within a residential care setting
• A recognised care management qualification such as SVQ/NVQ Level 5, RMA or Diploma Level 5
• Experience managing, supporting and developing a team to deliver high standards of care
• Strong understanding of Care Inspectorate regulations, safeguarding and local authority procedures
• Experience managing compliance, care standards and continuous improvement
• Excellent organisational, communication and administrative skills
• A proactive and confident leadership style
• NMC registration is not essential, although nurse-qualified applicants are welcome
