Residential Home Manager A well-established, medium-sized residential care home in Stockport is looking for an experienced Home Manager to lead the service. This is an opportunity for a strong and visible manager who understands that good care, a stable team and sound operational management are essential to a successful home. You will have full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring residents receive safe, person-centred care in a welcoming and well-managed environment. The role. As Home Manager, you will be responsible for:Leading, developing and retaining a capable and caring staff team.Maintaining high standards of person-centred residential and dementia care.Ensuring the home remains compliant with CQC requirements, safeguarding responsibilities and relevant legislation.Managing care planning, medication processes, risk assessments, audits and quality assurance.Building positive relationships with residents, families, GPs, local authorities and other healthcare professionals.Managing recruitment, induction, supervision, appraisal and performance management.Monitoring occupancy, enquiries, staffing levels, agency use and budgets.Responding appropriately to complaints, incidents and safeguarding concerns.Creating a positive and accountable culture focused on delivering good care.Ensuring the home is inspection ready at all times.About you.
