Are you a compassionate and experienced leader looking to make a meaningful impact in a high-quality residential care setting?
We are seeking a Residential Home Manager to take the helm of our beautifully designed, purpose-built residential care home in Northumberland.

Details of this Residential Home Manager role and what the successful candidate will receive:

  • Permanent, full-time contract - 40 hours per week
  • Day shifts only, with on-call responsibilities
  • Monday to Friday working pattern
  • Competitive salary circa -50,000 - -55,000 per annum

Duties will include staff management and coaching, the effective management of budgets and resources and promoting the home within the local area in addition to managing and monitoring the care provided within the home and ensuring all regulatory and quality standards are met.

Applicants for this Residential Home Manager should meet the following criteria:

  • Hold a recognised care management qualification (e.g. NVQ/SVQ Level 5, Diploma Level 5, or Registered Managers Award)
  • Ideally have experience in a management role within a residential care setting (elderly care preferred)
  • Be a strong leader with the ability to motivate and delegate to care staff
  • Have a good understanding of CQC, Local Authority, and safeguarding regulations
  • Be well-organised with excellent communication and record-keeping skills
  • Registered Nurses (RGN, RMN, or RNLD) may also be considered
