About the Role
An established and reputable law firm in Bolton is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Conveyancing Paralegal to join its busy residential property team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced paralegal or conveyancing assistant to further their career in a supportive and professional environment, working alongside skilled fee earners and solicitors.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the team with all aspects of the conveyancing process, from initial instruction to post-completion, ensuring smooth and efficient handling of transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist fee earners in managing a caseload of residential conveyancing matters including sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, and new builds. 
- Prepare and draft legal documents, including contracts, transfers, and completion statements. 
- Conduct title checks and searches, and assist with the preparation of reports to clients. 
- Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors to progress transactions efficiently. 
- Deal with exchange and completion procedures under supervision. 
- Handle post-completion matters including registration and SDLT submissions. 
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards. 
Requirements
- Minimum 12 months'' experience working within a residential conveyancing team (either as a paralegal or conveyancing assistant). 
- Strong knowledge of the conveyancing process from instruction to post-completion. 
- Excellent communication and client care skills. 
- Highly organised with good attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks. 
- Proficient in case management systems and MS Office applications. 
- A positive, team-focused attitude and willingness to learn and develop.
