This full-time Residential Conveyancer position in Devon offers a salary of £55,000 to £70,000 per annum, dependent on experience. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of residential property transactions, including freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, remortgages and associated matters. Applicants should have at least two years' post-qualification experience and the confidence to run files autonomously while collaborating within a supportive legal team. Strong client relationship skills and technical conveyancing knowledge are essential. Beyond fee-earning work, the post-holder will raise their local profile, build professional connections and help grow the department. This role suits a qualified solicitor, legal executive or licensed conveyancer seeking genuine ownership of their work.

Residential Conveyancer, 2+ Years PQE, Devon, £55,000+ (DOE) – This is an opportunity for someone who is confident managing their own matters, enjoys building strong client relationships and wants to play an active part in the continued development of a successful residential property practice. THE ROLE:
• You will have the autonomy to run a varied caseload while being part of a friendly and supportive team.
• Alongside the legal work, you’ll have the opportunity to raise your profile locally, develop professional relationships and contribute to the growth of the department.
• You will take ownership of a broad range of residential property transactions, including: freehold and leasehold sales and purchases and residential remortgages and associated transactions.
• Managing matters from initial instruction through to completion and post-completion requirements.
• Developing lasting relationships with clients and encouraging repeat instructions and referrals.
• Getting involved in networking and other activities designed to increase the department’s profile and client base.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Applications are sought from Residential Property Solicitors or Legal Executives to join a busy property department in Devon.
• Comfortable handling a busy caseload with a high degree of independence.
• Organised, commercially aware and able to manage competing deadlines effectively.
• A confident communicator who takes pride in providing an excellent client experience.
• Proactive and motivated, with an enthusiasm for business development and growing your professional network.
