This is an office-based, full-time role in Banbury, ideal for a conveyancer who enjoys autonomy but also values being part of a team. You''ll manage your own caseload of residential property matters and play an active role in the development of the department.Key Responsibilities
Handling your own caseload of residential conveyancing files from instruction to post-completionProviding clear, practical legal advice to clients throughout the transaction processDrafting and reviewing contracts, transfers, and related property documentsReviewing search results, title documentation, and Land Registry requirementsLiaising with estate agents, mortgage lenders, clients, and solicitors to ensure smooth progress of mattersSupporting the Head of Unit and act independently as neededContributing to business development by building new professional relationships and marketing the conveyancing serviceSupervising and supporting junior members of the team where appropriateQualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:Qualification as a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX)A minimum of 4 years'' post-qualification experience in residential conveyancingSolid understanding of property law and conveyancing proceduresStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approachProven ability to manage a varied caseload efficiently and independentlyHigh attention to detail and excellent organisational skillsA full UK driving licenceWhy Join?
