Senior Residential Conveyancer Location: Peterlee, County Durham, North East EnglandJob Type: Permanent, Full-TimeSalary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annumJob Description The role of Residential Conveyancer involves managing the legal process of transferring property ownership for residential transactions. The successful candidate undertakes all aspects of conveyancing work, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and firm procedures. This position requires close liaison with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties to facilitate smooth and timely property transactions.Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough property searches and investigations to identify any restrictions or liabilities affecting the property.Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts of sale, transfer deeds, and other conveyancing documents.Provide clear and accurate legal advice to clients regarding the conveyancing process, obligations, and potential risks.Liaise with clients, mortgage providers, estate agents, local authorities, and other relevant parties to progress transactions efficiently.Ensure compliance with Money Laundering Regulations and other relevant legislation by conducting appropriate client due diligence.Manage and maintain case files and records in line with firm policies and regulatory requirements.Handle the exchange of contracts and completion procedures, ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions.Resolve enquiries and issues arising during the conveyancing ..... full job details .....
