Conveyancer Maternity Cover 12 months Our client one of the largest property developers in the UK, are looking for an experienced Conveyancer to join their in- house legal team on a fixed term contract. The purpose of the role is to manage the legal process of Residential Property transactions, primarily the sale of new- build homes and the part exchange properties What you''ll do as a Conveyancer Reporting to the company Solicitor heading the Plot TeamManaging and running plot sales, part exchanges and purchases for such group companies that are designated to youEnsuring that the caseload is managed and conducted efficiently to achieve exchanges within the required timescalesPreparing individual plot documentation and manage the transfer of the lease process to facilitate accurate and efficient legal completion Dealing with part exchange transactions - title checking and reportingConduct title checks and report on part exchange transactions to identify risks and support informed decision making You will build relationships with purchaser''s solicitors, and the Group Legal Department and regional operating companiesAttending meetings with the sales team to review caseloadDealing with post completion matters such as SDLT returns and land Registration where necessaryAdvising and assisting on issues which arise during plot sales and part exchange transactions and where appropriate, dealing with plot sales and part exchange transactionsDealing with lease/transfer variations and ..... full job details .....
