We have an exciting opportunity for a caring and compassionate individual to lead our Family Residential Centre as a Residential Support Worker, on a full-time permanent basis. Location of the post: Market Harborough, Leicestershire. Service Overview: Barnardo''s, the UK''s largest Children''s Charity are currently on an exciting and innovative Journey alongside Leicestershire County Council to deliver a range of Children''s homes for the most vulnerable children and young people in Leicestershire. Welland House has 3 self-contained flats with the capacity to house up to 3 families at any one time. Families utilising this type of service may include parents with moderate to high learning needs, those presenting with issues around domestic violence, and or substance/alcohol misuse. Additionally, they may have experienced mental ill health and/or trauma. During their stay, the parents will be supported in their parenting by Barnardo''s staff, whilst being assessed by Leicestershire County Council Children''s Service.
