Residential Childcare Worker

As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a key role in promoting safety, setting clear and consistent boundaries, building trust, and supporting young people to develop resilience, confidence, and independence through a trauma-informed approach. Role Overview As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in the daily lives of Looked After Children, providing care, support, and guidance. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to create individualised care plans and implement therapeutic interventions. Your patience, empathy, and strong communication skills will help you manage challenging behaviours and support the children''s emotional and developmental needs. Key Responsibilities Provide direct care and supervision to children with challenging behaviour and complex needs. Develop and maintain positive relationships with the children, fostering a sense of trust and security. Implement and follow individualised care plans, ensuring the needs of each child are met.
