You’ll be part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team, providing intensive care in our 9-bed PICU and 5-bed HDU, and your responsibilities will include:Conducting ward rounds and delivering day-to-day patient managementResponding to emergencies as part of the Paediatric Emergency Response Team (airway management, intubation, chest drains)Supporting two PICU Consultant teams (Medical and Surgical)Managing pre- and post-operative care, including congenital cardiac surgery casesEngaging in audits, projects, clinical governance, and quality improvement initiativesQualifications
GMC registration with completion of Foundation trainingMinimum 5years’ post-graduate experience in Paediatrics, including PICUMRCPCH – Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child HealthALS certification with proven competency in emergency paediatric ICU presentations (airway management, stabilisation, critical care interventions)A collaborative approach and a passion for patient-centred careWhy Join HCA UK?
