Are you passionate about supporting refugees and helping individuals integrate into their communities? We are seeking a dedicated Resettlement Officer to deliver person-centred resettlement programmes, enabling refugees and resettled individuals to thrive in the local area. THE ROLE
As a Resettlement Officer, you will work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders to support individuals and families through government resettlement schemes.
Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering holistic support plans to help individuals live independently and integrate into the community
• Securing suitable, affordable housing and liaising with landlords and housing providers
• Conducting welfare checks and making safeguarding referrals where necessary
• Supporting access to services such as DWP, ESOL classes, education and healthcare
• Promoting community cohesion and working closely with local organisations and volunteer groups
• Managing data in line with GDPR and responding to FOI requests
• Attending partner agency meetings and emergency call-outs when required

THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a resettlement or housing role, ideally supporting vulnerable or migrant populations.
You will also have:

• Proven experience supporting refugees or migrant groups
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good knowledge of local services and multi-agency working
• Ability to manage sensitive cases and maintain accurate case notes
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and emergencies

THE CONTRACT
WORKING HOURS: Full time 37 hours Monday-Friday, option for hybrid working
LENGTH OF CONTRACT: 3-Month Contract, potential for extension
RATE: -18.35 per hour LTD company rate / -15.75 PAYE (inclusive of holiday) HOW TO APPLY
