  • Set up and close research projects using Agresso (Unit4).
  • Prepare and post correcting journals to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Calculate and post overheads for charity-funded and Full Economic Costing (FEC) grants.
  • Reconcile research projects, investigate discrepancies and resolve outstanding issues.
  • Raise invoices and prepare accurate financial reports for funders.
  • Monitor grant expenditure and ensure financial information is accurate and up to date.
  • Manage competing priorities and meet strict reporting deadlines.
  • Work proactively to identify and resolve issues, escalating where appropriate.
  • Support effective financial control and compliance with funder requirements.

To be considered, you will have:

  • Proven experience setting up and closing research projects within a finance system.
  • Experience posting correcting journals and overheads for charity and FEC grants.
  • Strong project reconciliation, invoicing and financial reporting skills.

  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach, with the confidence to investigate and resolve issues independently.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a demanding, fast-paced environment
