Research and Development Engineer

Energis is recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturing company for an RandD Engineer to join their engineering team. Working as part of a collaborative development team, you''ll support research and development projects, carry out product testing, contribute to new product introductions and help improve existing products. The Role Support research and development projects from concept through to production. Carry out performance testing and validation of new and existing products in accordance with established procedures. Work closely with the engineering team to develop new products and enhance existing product ranges. Support New Product Introduction (NPI), ensuring products transition smoothly into manufacture. Produce and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical documentation. Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support production. Liaise with suppliers to assist with material selection and component performance. Maintain accurate records of development, prototyping and testing activities.
