About the Role
This full-time post in Eastleigh suits a property professional with residential sales, shared ownership or conveyancing experience. As Resales Executive – Property / Shared Ownership, the successful candidate manages shared ownership resales from initial enquiry through to legal completion, acting as principal contact for buyers, solicitors and housing colleagues. Duties cover instructing valuations, approving marketing particulars, tracking progress and resolving issues which could delay exchange. Strong communication, negotiation and record-keeping skills are essential, alongside the ability to handle several transactions at once. Offered on a permanent basis or as a six-month fixed-term contract, the position pays £35,052 annually and involves a 37-hour week.

We’re recruiting for an experienced Resales Executive to join a busy housing and property team in Eastleigh.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in residential property sales, shared ownership, conveyancing or new homes who enjoys managing the customer journey from initial enquiry right through to completion.
The Role
You’ll manage the resale of shared ownership properties from start to finish, acting as the main point of contact for customers and ensuring transactions progress smoothly.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing shared ownership resales through to completion
- Acting as the main point of contact for sellers and purchasers
- Liaising with solicitors, Local Authorities, HomeBuy Agents and external partners
- Processing buyer applications and assessing eligibility
- Supporting financial assessments and ensuring Anti-Money Laundering compliance
- Providing advice on shared ownership and home ownership schemes
- Arranging and carrying out property viewings and completions where required
- Keeping buyers updated throughout the sales and conveyancing process
- Maintaining accurate records and internal systems
- Producing reports and monitoring scheme progress
- Supporting marketing activity, open days and property launches
- Ensuring excellent customer service throughout the entire journey
- Previous experience in a busy property sales environment
- Experience marketing and selling residential property
- Good understanding of the house sales and conveyancing process
- Knowledge of shared ownership/home ownership schemes
- Understanding of mortgages and lender affordability assessments
- Strong knowledge of the residential property market
- Excellent organisation and ability to manage a busy workload
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confident stakeholder management skills
- Good working knowledge of Word and Excel
- Excellent customer service skills, including dealing sensitively with customers when transactions become challenging
- Full UK driving licence and access to transport, or the ability to travel efficiently between locations
