RES Animal Care Technician Location: Rotherham Salary: £13.23 per hour plus holiday pay Vacancy Type: Part Time, Temporary (weekend and holiday cover) Closing Date: 26th May 2026 Rotherham Education Services (RES) supply casual and temporary staffing to the RNN Group. The RNN Group consists of Rotherham, Dearne Valley and North Notts colleges. You aren t just "feeding and cleaning" you are the primary observer of our residents'' health and happiness. You ll ensure our facility runs like a well-oiled machine while providing the high-standard care our animals rely on. You will be responsible for the supervision of learners during practical sessions and learners on work experience supporting tutors where necessary. You will ensure all of our animals are provided with full year-round care for all animals and any cover arrangements. This role includes both indoor and outdoor work. You will assist the Lead Technician in managing stock control for animal and land-based resources and ensure the safe preparation and setting out of equipment and materials for practical work and demonstrations within the curriculum area.
