Reprographics and CAD Assistant (Packaging) We are seeking an experienced Reprographics and CAD Technician to join our pre-press and studio team within the folding carton packaging industry. This is a key role, responsible for preparing customer artwork for print, producing accurate CAD layouts, managing reprographics processes, and ensuring all files are production-ready to the highest quality standards. Working closely with customers, designers, account managers, and the production team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality printed packaging while ensuring artwork accuracy, colour consistency, and efficient workflow throughout the process. What You ll Be Doing: Preparing, amending, and verifying customer artwork for lithographic carton production. Producing and maintaining CAD drawings and packaging layouts. Operating reprographics and pre-press workflows, including CTP (Computer-to-Plate) systems and plate production. Carrying out trapping, step-and-repeat, imposition, and artwork preparation for print. Setting up and verifying dielines. Barcode verification and artwork quality checks using industry-standard software. Artwork compliance checks. Colour management checks. Preparing proofs for approval. Liaising with designers, brand owners, customers, and internal production teams. Document control, file management, and revision history.
