Reporting Accountant

SF Partners is recruiting a Reporting Accountant for an ambitious, fast-growing business based in Solihull.

Backed by a leading private equity investor, the group is pursuing an active buy-and-build strategy and has already completed multiple acquisitions, with further growth planned.

As part of this continued expansion, the business is building a new shared service centre and strengthening its finance function. This is an opportunity to join at an exciting stage of the journey, helping to establish consistent processes, controls and reporting across a growing group.

The business is particularly interested in an ambitious first-time mover from practice who is ready to take on broader commercial responsibility and work in an environment where things are still being built.

The ideal candidate
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
- Strong academic background.
- First-time movers from audit/practice are encouraged to apply.
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Confident communicator with the gravitas to work with senior stakeholders.
- Commercially minded and comfortable taking ownership.
- Ambitious and keen to take on broader responsibility.
- Comfortable working in an environment where processes and structures are still developing.
- Someone who enjoys improving how things are done rather than simply following an established process.
