Reporting Accountant

Axon Moore are currently partnering with a well-established and growing financial services business to recruit an experienced Reporting Accountant. Working closely with Finance and key stakeholders, you will play an important role in the preparation of statutory and regulatory reporting, support the external audit process, and provide input on technical accounting matters. You will also contribute to maintaining a strong financial control environment and identifying opportunities to improve reporting processes. Key Responsibilities: Support the preparation of statutory financial statements, interim reporting and regulatory submissions.Prepare and review regulatory reporting, including SFCR and QRTs.Ensure reporting complies with relevant accounting and regulatory requirements, including IFRS, LUXGAAP and Solvency II.Support month-end and statutory close activities, including balance sheet reconciliations, journals, accruals and disclosures.Assist with technical accounting assessments covering areas such as reinsurance, acquisitions and disposals, impairments, assumption changes and model changes.Support Group reporting and consolidation, including reporting packs, intercompany reconciliations and eliminations.Work with external auditors throughout the audit cycle, responding to queries and helping ensure timely completion.Contribute to the ongoing development of the financial control environment, including controls, process documentation and remediation activity.Identify and ..... full job details .....
