Repairs SurveyorLocation: South East LondonRate: £226.57 per day UmbrellaContract: 3-month contractHours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday The Opportunity We are currently recruiting for an experienced Repairs Surveyor to join a local authority in South East London on an initial 3-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a surveyor with experience in responsive repairs, disrepair, and property maintenance to play a key role in maintaining a high-quality housing service. Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out inspections of residential properties to identify repair and maintenance requirements.Prepare specifications, schedules of work and cost estimates for responsive repairs.Manage repair works from inspection through to completion, ensuring quality and value for money.Investigate reports of disrepair and ensure works are completed in line with relevant legislation and timescales.Monitor contractor performance and ensure works meet the required standards.Undertake post-inspections to assess the quality of completed repairs.Provide technical advice and support to residents, contractors and internal teams.Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, building regulations and council policies.Maintain accurate records and produce detailed inspection reports.RequirementsPrevious experience working as a Repairs Surveyor, Building Surveyor or Maintenance Surveyor.Experience within a local authority, housing association or social housing environment is highly ..... full job details .....
