Repairs Surveyor

MMP Consultancy is seeking a Repairs Surveyor on behalf of a Housing Association with properties in Havant, Hampshire. The successful candidate will take control of complex repairs, damp and mould cases, and contractor performance across a live housing stock. This is a permanent roles to start as soon as possible. There will be a mix of onsite, office work and working from home.Remunerations: 45,818 salary (39 hours, Mon-Fri)Company vehicle (work use)27 days holiday + bank holidays (rising with service)Pension up to 9% matchedHealthcare cashback, EAP and lifestyle discountsClear development and progression opportunities Responsibilities:Carrying out property surveys and inspections across occupied homesDiagnosing complex building defects, including damp, mould and condensationSpecifying remedial works and overseeing delivery through subcontractorsManaging quality, cost, safety and timescales of repairsEnsuring works meet housing standards, legislation and customer KPIsActing as the technical point of contact for complex repair issues Requirements:Proven experience surveying residential properties (social housing ideal)Strong technical knowledge of building defects and repair solutionsExperience managing contractors and holding them to accountConfident dealing with residents and stakeholdersKnowledge of HHSRS and responsive repairsFull UK driving licenceHNC / Level 4 in Surveying, Construction or Built Environment (or equivalent experience)RICS / CIOB membership desirable, ..... full job details .....
