Repairs Supervisor Salary: 40,000- 46,000 per annum (depending on experience)Contract Type: PermanentLocation: South East LondonWe are recruiting on behalf of a forward-thinking Local Authority in South East London for a permanent Repairs Supervisor to join their Housing Repairs team. This is a key operational role where you will take day-to-day responsibility for delivering a high-quality repairs and voids service across the borough''s housing stock.You will supervise a team of operatives and contractors to ensure repairs are completed efficiently, on time, and to the required standard. Your work will directly impact resident satisfaction and the quality of homes, with a strong focus on health and safety, compliance, and customer care.You will play a hands-on role in driving service improvement, resolving issues on the ground, and supporting the Council''s aim to provide safe, well-maintained, and decent homes for all tenants. Core Responsibilities:Supervise operatives and contractors delivering responsive and void repairsCarry out pre- and post-inspections to ensure quality and specification complianceEnsure works are completed within agreed timescales and budgetsMonitor operative performance, productivity, and adherence to KPIsSupport the effective scheduling and coordination of resourcesLiaise with residents to manage expectations and resolve complaintsEnforce health and safety protocols and ensure compliance with statutory regulationsProvide technical advice and support ..... full job details .....
