Repairs Supervisor

Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and experienced Repair Supervisor to assist the Contracts Manager in overseeing operations and ensure the efficient functioning of our team across our Hackney building services contract. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a background in coding and pricing works in tenanted and void properties. This role is crucial in managing projects and maintaining high standards of performance within the team. 

Responsibilities

• Day to day supervision of operatives
• Pricing and Coding of tenanted and void properties
• Pre & Post inspections of works
• Organising and allocating operative workload in association with the program
• Tool box talks & health and safety monitoring
• Travelling between properties
• Liaising with the client and tenants over works

Skills

• Proven experience in supervising teams within a social housing environment
• Previous pricing/coding experience in social housing properties (essential)
• Experience in 1 or multiple trades (painting/decorating, carpentry, tiling, plumbing, groundworks)
• Previous client facing experience
• Ability to read and interpret schematics accurately.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with a logical approach to troubleshooting issues.
