What You''ll Be Doing As a Repairs and Maintenance Operative, you will carry out a range of routine and emergency repairs, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. You''ll use a PDA to receive and update work orders, accurately record works completed, and provide photographic evidence where required. You will aim to resolve repairs on the first visit wherever possible, keep residents informed throughout the process, and work closely with colleagues to deliver an outstanding repairs service. You''ll also be responsible for maintaining company vehicles, tools, and equipment and ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety requirements. What You''ll Need You''ll have strong all-round trade skills and experience working within social housing repairs or a similar maintenance environment. A full UK driving licence is essential, along with confidence using mobile technology to manage and record work.
