We''re looking for an experienced Repairs Officer (Voids) to join a busy housing repairs team.

### The Role

You will be responsible for managing the void property process from inspection through to completion, ensuring homes are safe, compliant and ready for new tenants.
Duties include:

• Carrying out void property inspections and preparing specifications of work.
• Undertaking site safety inspections.
• Completing work-in-progress visits to monitor contractor performance.
• Carrying out snagging inspections and post-completion quality checks.
• Ensuring works are completed to required standards, within budget and agreed timescales.
• Liaising with contractors and internal teams to deliver an efficient voids service.
• Maintaining accurate records and inspection reports.

### Requirements

Minimum 5 years'' experience in a repairs, maintenance or voids surveying role.Experience carrying out property inspections and producing work specifications.Good knowledge of housing repairs, maintenance and health & safety legislation.Experience managing contractor performance and quality inspections.Strong communication and organisational skills.Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
