Job Title: Repairs Manager - Permanent Location: Bedfordshire (Hybrid - office attendance no less than once per month) Salary: 52,413 - 56,675 per annum pro rata + 5,500 market supplement per annum pro rata Hours: 37 hours per week Contract Type: Permanent About the Role: We are seeking an experienced, proactive Repairs Manager to lead the delivery of all responsive maintenance activity across a housing portfolio. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring that all buildings are safe, legally compliant, and maintained to consistently high standards. You will oversee day-to-day repairs, contractor performance, and procurement activity, ensuring value for money and excellent outcomes for residents. Working closely with internal teams, external contractors, and partner agencies, you will play a central role in maintaining high levels of tenant satisfaction, prompt repairs delivery, and the effective management of communal areas, building services, and landlord responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: Lead the delivery of responsive maintenance services across the housing portfolio. Ensure full compliance with statutory, regulatory, and health and safety requirements (including fire safety, gas, electrical, legionella, and building compliance).
