Repairs Manager

If you are an experienced Repairs Manager who is committed to leading a dispersed work-force of operatives, and want to help us shape and create a great service for those who need us most, this could be the role for you!About you:Proven track record in operational repairs management across a large property portfolio, preferably within social housing, supported housing or a charitable setting.Experience of leading, developing and performance managing Direct Labour Organisation (DLO) teams to deliver high-quality responsive repairs, void works and property maintenance services.Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to manage budgets, control contractor spend and ensure the most effective use of in-house resources.Experience of overseeing contractor relationships, particularly for specialist works, ensuring quality, value for money and compliance with agreed service standards.Knowledge of property compliance, health and safety requirements and the Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS).Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the confidence to lead operational teams and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.What you ll be doing:Lead the day-to-day management of responsive repairs, void works and property maintenance across the designated region, ensuring services are delivered efficiently, safely and to a consistently high standard.Manage and optimise the use of the Direct Labour Organisation (DLO), ..... full job details .....
