Interim Repairs Contract Manager Location: Basildon, Essex Rate: £600 per day (Umbrella) Contract: 6 months Working Pattern: Full-time, HybridAre you an experienced Repairs Contract Manager with a strong background in social housing repairs and maintenance?We are currently working with a local authority in Essex who are looking to appoint an Interim Repairs Contract Manager to join their Repairs and Maintenance team on an initial 6-month contract.This is a client-side role with responsibility for managing contractor performance and ensuring the repairs and maintenance contract is delivered in line with contractual requirements, agreed KPIs, financial controls, quality standards and compliance obligations.The successful candidate will have significant senior-level experience within repairs and maintenance and a proven track record of managing contractors within a social housing or local authority environment.Key Responsibilities Monitor and manage contractor performance against contractual requirements and KPIs. Ensure the contract is delivered in accordance with agreed financial and commercial requirements. Monitor the quality of works, including workmanship and materials. Ensure appropriate subcontractor controls are in place and being adhered to. Review and manage contract variation requests, ensuring these are appropriately challenged and approved in line with contractual requirements.
